Add option to disable language censor at lobby/game level
The censor is annoying and it should be a private room-level setting that allows you to enable or disable it for the lobby/game in question.

Alternative: Instead of preventing everyone from using "improper language," give players the option to censor improper language from their own view when it is used in chat.
If you'd rather not see them, you ought to be able to keep them off your screen without limiting others' vocabulary.

Scoob Daddy MergedCurrently, "Scooby" and "scoob" are blocked words in the Colonist language filter. For my friend group, the lore and history of Scooby Doo is a main topic of conversation, but we can't talk about it in-game. We also like to say "scoob on" to each other when we make a good play or call each other "scoob daddy" if someone is looking especially like a snack that day, but sadly these encouraging words are not allowed in Colonist. ScoobyDont MergedMy friend group have also run into this issue. It’s truly a shame. We love playing this game and do it weekly, but it put a big zoinks in our game flow to not be able to speak freely to each other. We should play sometime.

Alex MergedAgreed, I think each player should be able to choose whether or not to filter their chats. Profanity could be replaced by asterisks for folks who want to stay in a filtered "church mode". You could have the filter enabled by default, but allow players to opt out of it in their profile settings. If folks can be direct in their profanity, it will enable filters to work better anyway for those who are more sensitive.
