Can't rejoin after refresh

Sometimes my internet will blink, and the room will tell me I need to refresh to rejoin the game. When I try to rejoin, it says "game no longer exists" and my karma goes down. I've had this problem multiple times and it's really frustrating.

I have also had this problem, and it is the main issue driving me away from colonist.io - I have had around 5 games tell me to refresh and then say that the room no longer exists. I have even gone to the list of rooms and found my old game, clicked it, and found myslf spectating a bot playing for me with no way to rejoin. Extremely infuriating.
