Unable to click start game after all players are ready

I was online tonight, saw people chatting about it in the game and in Discord, tried to replicate the issues with bot games and new games ... I didn't see anything going on. Perhaps the server logs will help.

I'm having this issue too. Have rebooted, logged in on multiple browsers, reset internet connection... nothing. Every time I click start game, I get disconnected and kicked to the lobby. Browser, being/not being host doesn't seem to matter. When I try to rejoin, it tells me the room no longer exists.

After paying to upgrade, I hosted a 5 player game. 3 other players and myself were able to tick I'm ready, however a 5th player could not. The 5th player had played previously from the same browser and computer. Whenever they tried to click I'm ready there was an error saying invalid username. The initial username was the same as used previously and this was changed multiple times to try and get it to work. The computer was a Mac and both safari and chrome browsers were tried. on a VPN getting same issues as above! Weren't having issues on same VPN prior to May 14 release... but might have been a VPN change rather than a colonist patch...

When I click "start game" the online, room, game, and lobby numbers reset to zero and the game will not start. Once I exit and try to reconnect it says the room no longer exists.

Same problem. Had 5 players ready and each person tried to start a new game to see if it was an individual browser/systems issue but the game was unable to start each time. Online, room, game, and lobby numbers also reset to zero and room no longer exists when refreshing page.

IMPORTANT: If anyone is having this bug, can you please e-mail me at [email protected] with the below info? Will be superhelpful in figuring out what's causing this bug:

What country are you based in?
Are you using a VPN?
Do you have cookies disabled?
Do you have an adblocker on?
any other browser add ons that could be blocking cookies?

Any of these may be causing the issue. Let me know and we can troubleshoot from there.

I am unable to start a new ame. When all players join in a new game and we click on start, it shows "internet connection has been broken" error and then shows "room does not exist"

I am also facing this issue. I set up a private game, other players join, all become ready. Then when I click 'Starr's nothing happens! This is so annoying!!

I'm getting the same error as well. Both myself and my friend are paid supporters and have not been able to start games. We have tried different browsers, different hosts and nothing has worked. Please fix!

I set up a multiplayer game with three other participants, everyone was able to enter the game but after everyone selected "ready" the start button was unresponsive.

I tried clearing my cache, quitting my browser, logging out of colonist.io and changing my username.
We also tried setting the game up on multiple browsers.

The other three players also tried setting up the game and inviting the others, no one was able to get the start button to work.

I create a game lobby, invite my friends (4-5 players), we all ready up, I hit 'start game'... and suddenly the game says my internet connection has dropped and 'the room no longer exists'. I can't play anything and I specifically bought the 5 player pass!

So for me it was a VPN issue. I was trying to log in using my official laptop to play which was running a VPN. As soon as i shifted to my mobile phone, the issue stopped.
