Bug: bank won't accept 4:1 card trade

I've noticed a few times over the course of the past week or so that during certain games, the bank will not allow me to trade in 4 cards (but other players can). Possible glitch?

Couldn't do 4:1 and also couldn't trade using a port in same game.
It appears to happen in games when the bank cards are marked "??"

Playing game #2sZZ I could not do a 4-1 trade with the bank. Annoying thing is that a 7 was then rolled and I lost cards. So buggy this game, is it worth it to pay for an upgrade. Please fix.

Couldn't trade with bank at all. I had a 3:1 port that wouldn't work. I tried 4:1 trades. Didn't work. Also had 2 ports that were 2:1. Didn't work. Bank icon would not appear in trade window no matter how many cards I put in. Only saw icon for other 3 players.

It's happened to me loads of times, but never connected it to the "???" bank card option.
Other players are trading, so I guess it's intermittent and someone once commented on it in a game that was working fine for me.

Happened to me as well. I had a 3:1 port and 2 2:1 ports. No matter what trade i tried (4 or 3 or 2 cards), the bank icon would not appear.
All other players said it was working for them.

This happened to me as well just now. I not only had a 3:1 port... but the bank wouldn't let me trade 3:1 or 4:1. I think a bug could have occurred due to the number of cards I was continually receiving. At one point I had 20 cards and was trying to make multiple trades with the bank and may have overloaded it. After that specific turn, I was never able to trade with the bank at all.

Can't 4:1 like a normal trade with the bank which had enough resources. Not to sound annoying or "skilled" but i was winning the game until that point and had plans revolving around that. No ports. Idc about karma i just left that stupid game.

this happened to me too, please fix the bug!! It prevented me from trading 4:1 with the bank for most of a game. paid $9.99 for this game, shouldn't be like this.

This just happened to me! I also had a 3:1 port and the game was working normally. Randomly towards the end of the game it just stopped working. Any 3:1 or 4:1 trades I submitted went up to the other players to view and accept instead of being instantly taken by the bank.

I have no idea how to reproduce this but I suggest you guys add some extra debug logging and try to investigate because this definitely happens and is really frustrating as it ruins the game when it happens.

This has happened in multiple games, very frustrating. It would also be good if a player was reminded that they have a better trade option, say if they try to do a 4/1 when they have a three or try to do a 3/1 when they have a 2. Seems like the trades are just rejected if a better option is available with no message as to why.

Still happening 8/1/20. The first time it happened to me I thought that it was a feature that someone had selected for a game that they set up. IT IS AWFUL. If no one wants to trade with you and you don't have the right combination of cards to spend you just keep accumulating and becoming a victim of the robber EVERY TIME. It's a terrible way to play and there's little relief

Normally when you offer 4 resources for 1 the game will understand that you're trying to trade with the bank. Sometimes this doesn't happen; the trade is then offered to the other players and theres no way to specify that I want to trade with the bank. This seems like a bug to me. I don't know how to reproduce this at will. This happens in bot games.

I have had this on a particular map/ game type. It will accept 3 card trades instead.

Same issue today while playing a very fast game with three other random players on the base map. It happened with regular 4:1, and also with the 3:1 and 2 tree:1 ports. Trading with other players worked fine and they didn't have that issue. The "Hide Bank Cards" option was active, which might be something to look at.

It seems that once I land on a port, trading 4:1 with the bank stops working sometimes. Im not trying to trade the resource that’s on my port. If I’m on a brick port but try to trade 4:1 sheep, it won’t let me.

This bug is still there - just got hit by it. No ports whatsoever, the bank icons simply does not appear when you add 4 of the same resource.
Rest of the players could trade normally.

Got this bug now twice in a row, both games had "Hide Bank Cards" checked.
Also, it appears to be just a visual bug. The bank icon does not appear, but if you accept, the trade is not offered to the players, but goes straight to the bank. It is still very confusing.

This happened to me in two games today. I also was unable to see the number of cards remaining in the bank which was replaced with '???'. In the end, I had to leave the games because it was impossible.

I had this bug in a game today. Bank icon wasn't coming up and it was asking the other players to trade 4:1 which was very annoying. Please fix.

I had this bug too. I had a 3:1 port and could not trade either that or even 4:1. It offered the trade to the other players but not the bank.
After a couple of rounds it started working again (possibly because I had switched to a different window to look at bug reports then switched back).

I don't think its a bug. I think its a hack because it only happens to me when i am kicking someone's ass. Then voila, no option to bank trade and a seven is rolled and I get steamrolled. It has happened too many times at just the right time to benefit other players to be a coincidence.

Bunch of cheaters in here just like the losers in real life.

I think nobody answered this before:

If the bank is out of cards, you can't trade obviously. This happend to me before.

If you can't trade with bank, make sure there are actually cards in stock.

@WalterWhite8: in the video you had a 3:1 port, so if you wanted to trade with the bank you should have offered 3 sheep instead of 4 or 5; I have never witnessed this so-called bug and played of the order of 1000 games on colonist.io

4:1 trade with bank dosent work late game instead it offers the players a 4:1 trade automatically. Really annoying when im about to win
