Don't make Balanced dice default in Ranked 1v1 games
Random dice should be the default option.

I was excited to see the new ranked games feature, until I saw that they use balanced dice by default. I don't think I'll play many ranked games until this changes.
Having balanced dice, by definition, means that any dice roll (except the first in the game) depends on past rolls and is not purely random. This can affect game dynamic in weird ways (eg. while deciding where to place a robber). -

Daniel Grumiller MergedCurrently, the 1v1 matches use a "balanced" dice rolling system. While for non-ranked matches this might be ok, In competitive games, it makes sense to have randomized dice instead. Sure, often enough you will lose/win just because of random events and not because of inferior/superior setups, but in the long run, it seems fairer to have truly random dice. Imagine for comparison if poker cards were not dealt at random in poker tournaments but according to some "balanced" scheme that only the dealer knows. I think this would lead to an uproar in the poker community.

Lesodont ever make it the default for 4p on very fast either, and also tell me before i join the lobby if they select balanced diced or deselected hide bank cards, i dont know how many times i join and left the same game where somebody chose different options and its frustrating and i have joined many games where the settings were different from what i wanted, and that's not fun.

JeroenCompletely agree, the current dice system seems to switch you from win to loss depending on which player the game favours getting all the 7-throws

JeroenPlease get rid of this feature, you can determine after a couple moves whether the balanced system will favour you or not. It makes me and other players resign after a few moves
