Remove/Disable Private Player Message Feature During Games
Either completely remove or disable users ability to send private messages to players in the platform or at least while either player is in a match.
In the game its unfair for 2 players to communicate with just each other without the other players being able to see it. Also its unfair for players to get spectators who can freely send messages to one player.
As a tournament organizer and broadcaster this feature is unable to regulate and could undermine the competitive integrity of our tournaments help on colonist.io.

Shanks1700 MergedWe should be able to send a message to a player after the game is closed. Private Messages is something good, but if he/she is not online anymore, you can't get in touch. An e-mail for short messages on your profile is my suggestion

LoganAlthough I take competition seriously in this community I do think that if communication (PM) is allowed, there is a very small chance it would actually impact anyones decision making unless the messenger is giving specific info about someone else in the game. Giving advice at this level isn’t likely to change the direction of the game that much. Often time in Micro decisions. There isn’t statistically a right answer but just a few different answers and the right answer only comes up in hindsight and no one can tell the future. I do not approve of disabling PM during game.

EmeraldAngelI agree. In any sort of competitive play it gives the impression of collusion.
Alternatively, have an option for the user to turn on/off PMs at will. -
