Masking/Hiding Identify of Players at Game Launch
Add an option to randomize/mask/hide players' names/colours once the game launches.
This would be particularly useful and fun in competitive environments where known "good" players might get targeted simply because they are good players.

SlynightI have seen this more and more of a problem since making top 10. It is so easy for players to grief in this game, and everyone wants to see the top players lose. It proves they're nothing special, and it feels great to score better than a top player.
This should probably only be implemented for ranked/competitive games.
An old adage from chess goes "Don't play the player, play the game". It suggests that people should play the best moves regardless of their opponent, and I think this is paralleled with Colonist. I absolutely love the strategy this game has to offer (despite the dice RNG), especially when all players make their best attempt to play well and win.
That being said, this game has several social aspects as well, and this feature may impact that. I fear that non-binding trades will be broken far more often (eg. future trades, non-block deals, etc.). It would also remove the possibility of exploiting player weaknesses or tendencies (eg. forcing OWS, trade tendencies). -
