Immediate internet connection was broken message on colonist homepage

This is the first time I've ever seen this happen. When I go to colonist.io, there is immediately a message in the Lobby Chat area that says "Your internet connection was broken. Refresh browser tab to rejoin." Refreshing the browser does not work. I'm basically just not able to do anything at all (i.e. none of the buttons work). I will attach a screen shot.

I have been experiencing this exact same issue. Same general time/date since you posted this too. I haven't been able to play since this has happened. Nothing seems to helps. I've cleared Cache, that doesn't help and different browsers gives same error.
