Option to change back to default icon

After choosing a different icon (like the christmas hat), you can only choose from the other special icons but not return to the normal one (the white head). It could be useful to have such option.

I love that we now have icons! But there seems to be no way to select "default generic icon" i.e. the generic white figure that new users have by default. Am I missing something on the interface. I want to switch back from my Santa hat, but for now I'll settle for being a cactus.

Original paying Foundation and Settler members are forced to use hat icons or one of the free icons and cannot choose to use the default icon. All players should be able to use the default icon for free. This allows "hat" players to disguise themselves a little better.

Having paid for the pirate icon , I can find no sign of it except to say I have bought it. Also have bought a couple of the alternate scenarios i cannot get the random weekly game which i have really enjoyed for weeks.

Yes, please allow going back to the default.

Many people will try out a Free icon just because it's Free. Then they're stuck with that whether they like it or not, and it's not communicated.

I imagine this should be very easy to implement? I'd be willing to contribute, if there's a way.

It grinds my gears more than it should that I can't get rid of the hat. And I've read this sentiment here from others a dozen times, even from years ago.

Once you pick the free Colonist avatar or buy one from the shop, there doesn't seem to be any way to go back to the default avatar (the "naked" one). I'd prefer to have this option.

Nuts, so many players want the option to return to default avatar, and they wont do it. Being blocked and robbed by the first 7 it's so annoying and can be also game losing.
Come on guys, add the option to go back to default, or add a default avatar available to by from store!

I've stopped playing because of this:

I would be willing to go as far as delete my account and recreate it to get the default icon back. Yet that is not possible either (see another suggestion above this)

It's ridiculous. I check back about once a month if I can choose the default avatar. It's trivial to implement. Please.

PLEASE let me go back to the default avatar!! I don't want to be the black hat avatar, I feel like people target me because of it. I just want to be default again.
