WiFi causes player to disconnect frequently

I've been playing for months on Colonist using the same computer, browser, and wifi, and a couple of weeks ago, I suddenly started getting kicked out of online games every minute or two. I tried using different browsers, devices, and incognito, and the only constant was that it worked fine when not on my home wifi and started acting up when I connected to the wifi. My wireless provider and plan haven't changed and I'm using Chrome on a Macbook Air.
