Fun Map - Randomizer
This is a suggestion for a fun map. Players start off on the base map and as soon as the leading player reaches midway to winning (say, 5 out of 10 points to win), the map randomizes. The roads, houses, cities built remain constant, but maybe the numbers or the resources randomly change. Would be fun to see how the game progresses from then.
Or the trigger for the random change could be in the dev cards. As soon as someone randomly draws the card, the tiles randomize. But in this case, the game can finish off before the randomization occurs.

PuzzlesMake it a game mode.

Shuffle Mode
Every X rounds, all tiles of the map change. (Sea tiles can change too, up to you, can be map-dependent).
Changing only land tiles makes it easier and can easily adapt it to every existing map/fun map.
Making it a game mode means more money for you and it should be compatible with all maps.
Makes for some unique experiences.
Make it a cheaper game mode pls -

Nick ShakespeareMy friends and I while playing Catan IRL would play something like this called "Earthquake": on the third 12 that's rolled, all the number tiles are switched.

AlexInAuburnWhen you select to play the Earthquake expansion, there should be three new settings:
[ ] change tiles every ____[^] turns or [ ] only once.
[ ] change numbers every ____[^] turns or [ ] only once.
[ ] change [ ] tiles, [ ] numbers, when a ____[^] dice roll has occurred ___[^] times.
[ ] denotes a check box, and ___[^] denotes a selector. Multiple selections should be allowed so tiles could change every 5 turns and numbers every 8 turns.
