Minor Bug: Buttons blink when hovering over their outer edge

When hovering with the cursor over the outer edge of a button, the button becomes smaller.
Due to the 'hitbox' of the button also becoming smaller, the cursor is now not selecting the button anymore and the button returns to its unselected, larger state. And is then selected once more.
This leads to a blinking behavior.
This happens with the buttons for buying stuff ingame, as well as the buttons on the endscreen. A similar thing occurs when hovering over the top edge of the 'Start Game' button in a lobby.
I am playing with firefox on win 10 with and a resolution of 1680x1050.
