option to remove lobby chat

There are really inappropriate conversations going on. This used to be a site I let my child play this great board game on but I don't anymore because people are talking about sex with animals and killing animals, etc, etc. Also, the Google ads have become very sexual, which I'm guessing is because of the chat. So disappointing.

As I am writing this there is a user in the main Lobby chat who is insulting left right and center and trying to be provocative ie. a typical troll.

There needs to be some form of Chat moderation in the main Lobby, or the possibility to mute players.

How about the following: Automute a player for all other players if a certain number of players (let's say 10 or more) have already muted that player or if his comments continously contain certain words. Ideally this should happen without the troll noticing it i.e. show them what they write but don't actually show it to other players.

This way they wont notice that nobody is listening to them anymore and wont really annoy anyone. They will also be less likely to just rejoin the chat with a different name but will just assume that everyone is ignoring them.

blocking swear words won't fix the problem and it could be annoying in game chat
some people say racist, sexist hateful things without using any individual words that you would censor automatically

For someone who just prefers to play with friends, Lobby chat is irritating and often offensive. We have the paid packs.

Report people in Lobby Chat. I have read some disgusting things, racist things, death threats. Allows us to report these people. They have no business being on a site like this let alone being tolerated in general.

The chat box has included information about raping people among other illegal topics. This should not be acceptable, ever. I'm here to play, not to listen to violent trolls. The lobby chat is abusive and should be moderated or players should have the ability to block it completely.

Type /disablechat and the chat will get disabled. Type again to re-enable. Works for both Lobby chat and Game chat

someone just spent the whole game calling me racist and homophobic names. I reported in-game, and as soon as the game was over they started spamming the lobby chat with the same thing including my username. being reported in-game should trigger an automatic lockout from lobby chat until the report is reviewed, because clearly it's a player who can't control themself.
